In the concert series Early Music in Schwabing, the Svapinga Consort regularly organises new programmes with music from four centuries. Our four SEASON CONCERTS present music on period instruments in innovative formats.

We are very pleased to present our programme for the 2022/23 concert season!

You can expect varied, moving and virtuoso music, presented by Svapinga Consort in the original historical sound.

We are very keen to expand our existing collaborations. Thus, the enchanting Fanie Antonelou returns to
returns to Munich to present a programme with us in the autumn about suffering, but also strong women. Our

We are delighted to resume joint music-making with the Kantorei of the Kreuzkirche Schwabing (cond. Ursula Leicht).

The Kantorei will support us in the summer programme dedicated to the music of Jesuit missions. Let

season concerts are combined with FAMILY CONCERTS: special concert introductions for “young and old”,
in which the special instruments and the music are introduced.

The MUSICA POETICA concerts are presented by students of the Institute for Historical Performance Practice
of the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and offer high-quality performances by young, up-and-coming Munich
early music professionals.
